Standing up to racism in the rain.

Mid Sussex Labour Party were proud to be with other groups throughout Sussex yesterday at the Redwood Centre, Haywards Heath, in solidarity against a fascist group of flag-wavers threatening to protest outside a peaceful meeting of Humanists and Amnesty International members discussing the threats to refugees in our society. Well done StandUpToRacism for organising this.

“Mid Sussex Stand Up to Racism called on all anti-racists and anti-fascists to defend this meeting and oppose the far right bringing their vile bigoted poison to our wonderful multi-cultural town.

We know refugees are not to blame, so we will stand up to the hateful minority who are trying to divide and attack our community.”
